To Our Favourite Places is an original oil pastel painting on cotton rag paper, created in 2026.

This landscape artwork is dedicated to the places where we feel the most free, the most ourselves, and the most at peace. It was inspired by a photogrpah I took in the Scottish Highlands and depicts a dreamy skyscape with a wildflower field fit for a fairy.

Certificate of authenticity included.

Specifications
  • Painted on 320 gsm Khadi handmade (using sustainably sourced materials), recycled, fairly traded, deckle-edge, acid free, 100% cotton rag paper
  • A4 paper size (210x300mm), including a natural white border as pictured (due to the handmade nature of the paper, the edges are not completely straight or uniform).
  • Painted using Caran d'Ache Neopastel Oil Pastels, Sennelier Oil Pastels & Meeden Oil Pastels.
  • I have sealed the oil pastel surface with Sennelier Oil Pastel Fixative Spray, reducing the risk of smudging and giving the painting a subtle glossy sheen that brings out the richness of the colours.
  • Signed on the front as pictured
  • Signed, dated and titled on the back

Artwork Care Guide
  • Keep the painting in a dry environment, away from direct sunlight.
  • Handle the artwork gently, always by its edges.
  • Until the painting is framed, keep the oil pastel surface protected with glassine paper (this is provided).
  • When framing, use a mat and place the artwork behind glass, ensuring all materials are acid-free and archival quality.
Shipping

I take great care when packaging your order to make sure it arrives safely.

  • Original artworks are wrapped in glassine paper, secured between protective cardboard, and shipped in a rigid reinforced envelope.
  • Prints are wrapped in glassine paper, mounted on backing card, and sent in a board-backed envelope.

Taxes & Duties

International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or other fees charged by your country. These fees are not included in the price of your order or shipping cost.

As the recipient, you are responsible for any customs fees required by your local authorities. I can’t control or take responsibility for delays or charges caused by customs.

If you’re unsure, I recommend checking your country’s import rules for artwork and prints shipped from the UK before ordering.

U.S. Customers:

For U.S. orders, I use Royal Mail’s Postal Delivery Duties Paid (PDDP) service. This means import duties are calculated and paid at the time I purchase shipping labels, so you shouldn’t receive unexpected customs charges.

However, U.S. Customs still has the final say regarding fees and duties.
Replacements & Exchanges

All my paintings are original, one-of-a-kind pieces. Therefore, replacements and exchanges are not available.
